Chicago (Det.Dun) It’s down to Chicago for coverage of this years Riot Fest sponsored by Red Bull energy drink and everyone’s favorite Spiced Rum Sailor Jerry.  This 3 night event which took place at The Congress Theater in Chicago featured some of the best in Punk, Rock and Indie artists. Starting off with the legends of Punk Rock Social Distortion. Headed up by front man Mike Ness they ripped the roof off the joint. As the weekend progressed it was with heavy hearts that Weezer took to the stage after hearing about the death of bassists Mikey Welsh. A true testament to a band, that no matter what happens the show must go on. And it did and we must say it was the highlight of our weekend. Photos by Paul Allan Lennartz  ( Chicago,Det.Dun).
